Professor Cedric Bell announced as Executive Head of the School of Law | Dublin Business School incorporating Portobello College was pleased
to announce Professor Cedric Bell’s appointment as the Executive Head
of the School of Law at a reception for School of Law students and
staff on Thursday the 3rd of September. The reception was attended by a
large number of students from the School of Law and the guest speaker
on the evening was Paul McNaughton, Manager of the Grand Slam 2009
winning Irish International Rugby team. Professor
Bell was formerly Chief Executive of Holborn College in London, a
leading private sector law and business college in the UK, owned by
Kaplan, Inc. He is a ‘triple graduate’ of the University of Birmingham.
He has significant experience of legal practice and has particular
expertise in real property law, wills & probate and legal practice
management. Professor Bell is also an experienced conference/seminar
speaker, has authored a number of textbooks, and has held positions at
several UK universities. He is currently Visiting Professor of Law at
Liverpool John Moores University and at the University of Cumbria. |  |
