DBS Lecturer Emma Olohan was recently elected the first ever Irish board member of the Professional Women's Network Global as Vice President of Public Relations. PWN Global work towards achieving gender equality in leadership and organisations around the world which they do through professional development and international networking. Here’s what Emma had to say about joining the board:

“I am very proud to join a global force for change, and make history for Ireland at the same time. I am particularly proud as a hard working business woman and part-time educator who is humbled to hold a position that influences, mentors and makes a positive difference in people's lives. We do this on the board out of sheer passion and love for making it right. PWN Global helps me to take that step further to working with such an inspirational board, and amazing members in the 27 city networks including Dublin and all over, in our message towards achieving fully inclusive and balanced organisations worldwide.”
