The Diploma in Blockchain is aimed at the skills gap in the evaluation of enterprise grade Blockchain solutions, the evolution of digital currencies, and the tokenisation of assets. This is important to the learner as it goes beyond exploring the open decentralised Blockchain upon which many cryptocurrencies are based, by introducing them to the added levels of privacy and security that are the cornerstone of many of the centralised enterprise grade Blockchain solutions.The blockchain diploma provides learners with the requisite skills to analyse the contemporary business development challenges of Blockchain adoption through a mixture of underlying conceptual and applied practical leaning outcomes.

Aims
Provide learners with the ability to demystify the concepts of Blockchain technology and demonstrate the potential business value creation of evolving Blockchain applications. The programme specifically focuses upon digital currencies, tokenisation and the challenges that need to be addressed in implementing enterprise grade Blockchain solutions across various financial services and other industries.
Objectives

Introduce learners to the core concepts of Blockchain technology.

Provide learners with an understanding of the nature and evolution of crypto (digital) currencies and the development of Central Bank Digital Currencies.

Allow learners to appreciate the potential of tokenisation to disrupt traditional financial services.

Introduce learners to a variety of Blockchain applications and solutions.

Develop the learners' awareness of contemporary Blockchain use cases, including an understanding of the nature of Blockchain Sales Cycle.

Assessment
To meet the requirements of the Diploma in Blockchain the learners will be assessed through a mixture of formative, summative assessments.
The overall grade will be weighted as follows:
Scenario-based assignment (group) = 50%
Final examination = 50%
