Our BA (Hons) Marketing with Event Management students took time out of their busy work schedules and holiday time to work at one of this year’s most prominent events, the Pendulum Summit at the CCD.
A collaboration initiated by DBS Events lecturers Emma Olohan and Anne McGlynn, and the co-founder of Pendulum, Norma Murphy, meant DBS event students got to organise the event set up, manage aspects of the Pendulum Summit live social media for the event, as well as run the event registration and VIP features.
The event is a fantastic opportunity for all students involved, allowing them to gain real industry insights. DBS Event Management students are actively involved in over four major events in the Irish Event Calendar, giving them the experience and confidence they need to succeed upon graduation.
Speakers at the Pendulum Summit, including Richard Branson, Jo Malone MBE and Paul O’ Connell, and over 7,000 attendees were in the capable hands of our DBS Finest.
