DBS awarded funded places on Postgraduate Programmes commencing December 2020

Dublin Business School is delighted to announce that Government funding has been approved to support the provision of postgraduate places. DBS will be offering funded places across a broad range of existing validated full and part-time taught postgraduate programmes including Masters and Higher Diplomas in DBS. 

On Tuesday 27 October, the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Simon Harris TD announced over €30 million in free and subsidised higher education places under the July Stimulus Higher Education Initiative Jobs Stimulus package to help get people back to work, upskill workers and build economic confidence while continuing to manage the impact of COVID-19.

Commencing in December 2020 DBS will provide funded places on the following Postgraduate Skills Provision Programmes:


  • MBA in Project Management

  • MSc. in Business Analytics 

  • MSc. in Data Analytics 

  • MSc. in FinTech

  • MSc. in Information systems with Computing 


  • Higher Diploma in Business 

  • Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics

Courses listed above will be open to returners to the workforce, those in employment and recent graduates. All participants, with the exception of returners, will contribute 10% of the course cost. Those in receipt of Department of Social Protection (DSP) payments, including Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP), will be eligible to undertake part-time courses free of charge.

Eligible participants must have at least a level 8 qualification or equivalent prior to acceptance onto a course. Exact academic eligibility requirements will depend on the nature of the course.

Eligible Applicants must be ordinarily resident in Ireland and must meet the nationality and EU residency.
