International Student Ambassador Awards Ceremony

The 2018 International Student Ambassador Awards Ceremony took place recently in the stunning Farmleigh House and Estate in the Phoenix Park. The event started with a reception in the glass conservatory towards the rear of the house, where the sun was beaming in on the guests as they enjoyed the refreshments and live music.

 

The Student Ambassadors and guests from their respective colleges were then ushered into the drawing room where the ceremony was to take place, led by the Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton TD. Once the Minister had arrived and photos were taken with all parties, he commenced his speech, which focused on the importance of education and the value in learning from others and sharing opinions.

The awards ceremony then took place, and all four DBS International Student Ambassadors went up on stage and proudly received their certificate.





We would like to say a special thank you to our International Student Ambassadors of 2017/18 who took their role very seriously and put a huge amount of work into promoting Ireland and DBS as a great place to study.
