President of the DBS Student’s Union, Daniel Forde, is currently undertaking a BA (Hons) in Psychology at DBS. We asked Daniel what drew him to the college and why he chose his particular course.
Why did you choose DBS?
It was the best option for me at the time, and DBS taught psychology at a very high standard.
Why did you choose this course?
I always wanted to study psychology and I knew DBS had a very good name in the field.
How has the course benefited you personally?
Hugely! I am a completely different person now compared to 6th year; I feel like I can apply what I have learned every single day.
How have you enjoyed the course?
The course is very enjoyable, the lecturers are very helpful and I have made many new friends along the way.
What did you feel was the best thing about studying in DBS?
The smaller class sizes allow for a better relationship with lecturers and all the lecturers are extremely helpful. The mix of social life and learning in dbs is also very good.
What did you think of college life in DBS?
College life at dbs is very good, in the middle of the city with lots of things going on both outside of college and inside ran by the Student Experience team.
