DBS International Student Ambassadors Celebrated at Farmleigh

DBS International students Nathaniel Musters and Alice Fan Xia had the privilege of meeting the Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton T.D., to mark the end of the highly regarded International Student Ambassador Programme in the beautiful Farmleigh estate.

International Student Ambassador Programme

The International Student Ambassador Programme is a government-recognised initiative set up by Education in Ireland to promote Irish education and encourage students from abroad to study in Ireland.

Our Ambassadors who took part in this programme received a completion certificate from Education in Ireland, marking their contribution to promoting Irish education. Among those in acknowledgement of their certificates were the ambassadors for their countries, which was a great honour for our students also.

Each of the ambassadors received training in online communication skills including social media, blogging, video and digital content. The aim is to create a platform where International students can share their experience of living and studying in Ireland with other students around the world.

A big congratulations to this year’s International Student Ambassadors - Nathaniel Musters and Alice Fan Xia. We will be recruiting for next year’s programme from late September, for more information on how to apply go here.
