DBS Student Interview: Mark Hanbury - Diploma in Project Management

DBS offers over 35 Professional Evening Diploma Programmes ranging from ten weeks to one year. Mark Hanbury is a recent graduate of the ever-popular Diploma in Project Management. Below are his thoughts on DBS and his course.

One of the primary factors in me choosing to study the Evening Diploma in Project Management at Dublin Business School was due to work commitments. The evening course allowed me to work full time whilst pursuing a formal qualification in the area that I was working in.

The excellent tutor, together with an open, interactive and friendly approach to lectures and class work made studying at DBS an enjoyable experience. Studying at DBS has benefited me both personally and professionally through the relationships developed and the principles learned during my tenure there, as well as giving me greater scope to develop and advance on my chosen career path.

I currently work in Project Management and have to deal with a number of different clients and manage multiple projects across a number of countries worldwide. The ability to plan, adapt, think outside the box and be resourceful are all skills that were encouraged and enhanced throughout the course.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at DBS, both the course and the college. The professional approach to learning, friendly staff and students, and the continuous encouragement and motivation offered by the course tutor are all contributory factors that resulted in me successfully achieving the Diploma in Project Management.

I am very happy with my choice of course and college, and highly recommend studying at DBS to all future prospective students.
