Dr.Barnaby Taylor of DBS Voices on Film, will be hosting a Digital Storytelling Event in Filmbase, Temple Bar on Wednesday February 9th from 3pm - 5pm, called Story 16, a new concept in the art of digital storytelling.
Story16 will see a panel of experts interact with a live audience to discuss on-line gaming, YouTube, podcasting, virtual communities and other aspects of digital storytelling. Following these discussions, the panel and audience will come together to invent the story for a brand new game.
The panel will be made up of the audiovisual research collective voices on film, YouTube gamer and community builder Francois Wahl - Games4Kickz, and podcasters Chris Brennan and Stephen Ryan - StoryBreakers. DBS students are welcome to attend this fun event and can register here.
