Law & Practice Series of Public Lectures Monday the 25th of January saw the first lecture in Dublin Business School's ‘Law & Practice’ series; 'Future of EU – China Trade: A Regulatory Perspective' . It was delivered by Professor James Kirkbride from Liverpool John Moores University in the Main Aungier Street Campus. We would like to invite members of the public to the next lecture in the series will be held on Tuesday the 9th of February at 1pm in Harbour House, Portobello College. Harcourt Street was the venue for the 2009 DBS Fashion Show. Student
models strutted their stuff in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, wearing
clothes sponsored by top brands including G-Star, Berska, Fran &
Jane, Lacoste and Hugo Boss. Brian Maher from Spin 103.8's Zoo Crew was
Master of Ceremonies on the night and the Asolo Academy of Dance opened
the New York-themed show with a blend of urban and hip-hop dance.

| | | BA (Hons) Marketing with Event Management Students 'Learn and Earn' for their Chosen Charity | | 
| The third year BA (Hons) Marketing with Event Management have raised over €10,000 for the Make-a-Wish® Foundation by organising and hosting 7 different events this year including a ‘Madhatter Comedy Night’, ‘Homegrown Dance Night’ and an Italian-themed night in Howl at the Moon which was attended by over 700 people. Each class was divided into 2-3 groups. An Event Company was formed for each group and roles were delegated as per industry, while lecturers interviewed for the positions of CEO, Financial Controller etc.
