We were delighted to announce the win by the DBS Cricket team who claimed the Irish Universities Outdoor Cricket Intervarsities title on Friday the 12th June in Trinity College. They beat  Trinity College in the semi-final, and went on to beat the University of Ulster in the final. Winning this title allowed the DBS team to play 2 test matches in June and  July against the Irish Universities Team (a team consisting of the best 11 players from Universities around Ireland) and the Munster team. Four of the DBS players were originally selected for the Irish Universities team. DBS were also placed 2nd to the University of Ulster in the Irish Universities indoor cricket Intervarsities earlier this year.
