| DBS Students Rank in Top 10….again! | | The reputation of Irish Accountancy students on the international accountancy scene increased today with the announcement that 31 ACCA and CIMA students at Dublin Business School had been placed in the top 10 places in Ireland in the most recent sitting of the Professional Examinations. At a ceremony at the Westbury Hotel, Dublin Business School (DBS) announced 47 Student achievements in their highly acclaimed Professional School bringing the total so far in 2010 to 95. In addition to the high ranking Irish placings, 13 students were placed in the Top 20 in the World. Laura O’Neill from Clonmel, CoTipperary achieved Third in Ireland and Third in the World in the ACCA’s Diploma in Financial Management programme which is an outstanding achievement . DBS have an enviable reputation for the quality of their professional programmes. Since it’s inception in 1975, DBS has educated over 800 prize-winning students at national and international level. DBS was one of the first Colleges in Ireland to be awarded Premier Plus Status – (now referred to as Platinum) from ACCA, and Learning Quality Partner from CIMA - both awards providing independent assurance that DBS meets the standards set down by both Professional Accountancy Bodies.
