DBS recently participated in Career Reboot, an event hosted by Microsoft Ireland in their Sandyford offices and run in conjunction with their partner companies and third level institutions. Part of the joint government ‘ICT Skills Programme’ initiative, Career Reboot gave attendees the opportunity to meet 13 prospective employers including Ergo, Bearing Point, Accenture, PHF, Dell as well as get more information on the fully funded Higher Diploma conversion courses available. The event was aimed towards people who may have worked in some of the following professions but who now find themselves looking for a new career….. Engineers, CAD Technicians, Electrical Design Engineers, Architectural Designers and Technicians, Truss Designers or Design suite Operators.

Career Reboot was attended by over 1200 people and allowed prospective candidates for the ICT Skills programme a 360’ degree view of the course content and the associated career potential following course completion and was also a key opportunity for attendees to begin building a strong network of potential employers and key business decision makers.
