Students from the DBS Business Society recently got to film an introductory boardroom scene for the popular television show Dragon’s Den which sees entrepreneurs pitch their business concept in front of four ‘dragons’ in the hopes of securing an investment into their business. The students got to meet with one of the dragons, Gavin Duffy, who was on hand to offer advice and give lots of useful tips on improving their business and networking skills.
Head of
DBS Business Society, Max von der Heidt, had the following to say on the experience;
‘Meeting with Gavin Duffy and filming a boardroom scene for Dragon’s Den was a great opportunity for me and the rest of the DBS Business Society. We took full advantage of the situation and made sure to ask Gavin lots of hard hitting questions which he happily answered in his usual humorous manner. Overall it was a highly enjoyable experience and a great chance to get a behind the scenes look of what really goes on in the Den.’
