DBS hosted their bi-annual Careers Fair in association with Mason Alexander. The event was a huge success with a vast array of employers present on the day to talk to students and inform them of any jobs or graduate opportunities in high profile companies such as Amazon, Adecco, USIT and Virgin Media
Rachel O’ Farrell, Senior Careers Advisor at DBS, had the following to say about the event;
‘The DBS Careers Fair took place recently and attracted a record number of companies and students. We were delighted to welcome a broad spectrum of companies, covering a wide spectrum of disciplines, ranging from IT, Finance, HR, Event Marketing, Retail, Healthcare, Sales and Banking through to Digital Media, Arts and Volunteering. Recruitment agencies were also on-hand to showcase the wide range of full and part-time jobs they had on offer. Prior to the Careers Fair, our team were available to offer extra help and support to students to help them update their CV's and network effectively.
Speaking to many students at the event, they were delighted with the invaluable advice they got and many students have now secured job interviews as a result of attending the Careers Fair. I would wholeheartedly recommend all our DBS students to attend our Careers Fairs over the academic year, as they can really help to kick-start a student's graduate career opportunities'
