ICT Skills graduate Susan O'Beirne has been featured in a Silicon Republic article which focused on her career change.
Gone are the days of a 'job for life', and the article explores Susan's transition from studying Chemistry in Galway, to completing a Bachelors degree and Masters in Musicology, up to the point where she decided a career change was necessary for long-term financial viability.
Susan enrolled in the Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Software Development) ICT Skills Conversion Programme at DBS in conjunction with Springboard+. She graduated with first class honours in November 2016 and was placed on Version 1's Graduate Programme. She now works remotely for a .NET team based in the UK and has recently been made permanent.
