‘To commence studying again after time away is a difficult decision, however, when it’s study on a part-time basis it’s an even harder decision. You ask yourself so many questions such as, have I got the time, or ability to manage my time, to be able to take on such a course together with  work? Will I meet people easily given that you only spend a couple of hours at lectures a week? And on and on. However, thankfully I look back and laugh at all these uncertainties, concerns and inhibitions as although the last two years have been tough going it has been worth every minute. The lecturers have been so supportive; I have met some amazing people, friends for life, and have broadened my horizons as far as my career prospects go. The MBS course has a broad syllabus, which has given me crucial skills in important areas across the financial and business sector as a whole. The course included group work and presentations, which not only helped me on a personal basis, but gave me confidence and helped me learn important lessons about working in teams and presenting that has proven invaluable in my working environment and has helped me in my career tremendously.’
