I completed a part-time Psychology Degree at DBS over 4 years. During this time, I found the course material very interesting and the course work challenging. As a part-time student, I found it a huge challenge balancing work and family life with getting course work completed on time. I felt that all my lecturers at DBS fully understood this aspect of being a part-time student, and were always very approachable and supportive. The positive college experience I had at DBS has only encouraged me further, and I am now looking forward to completing a Masters degree. 

I found studying an Evening Arts Degree at DBS to be extremely beneficial and ultimately rewarding in my chosen career path. The standard of teaching among the lecturers is of the highest standard, they were always so easy to approach and were very helpful with any queries I had. The course covers a broad range of subject areas and I have learned a phenomenal amount throughout the course of this degree.

I greatly enjoyed my four years studying at DBS even when the going got tough towards the end of my four years I never doubted I was doing the right thing for me by working towards my degree. The quality of lecturers and delivery were excellent and I found the course very informative and enjoyable.

I came to DBS having, in my early twenties, completed a Degree and Masters in a Dublin University. I chose DBS and this degree because of the depth, breadth of the course content and the ideal balance between clinical and academic learning. The lecturers on the course were outstanding in ensuring that, I believe, graduates from this degree are the best prepared in the profession to work with people suffering with emotional difficulties. We received constant feedback, which meant we never stopped learning both academically and personally, it is a journey I will never forget. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in becoming a counsellor/psychotherapist.
