'I chose DBS primarily because it has an excellent reputation for exam success, but in addition, the option to attend lectures or revision classes only was great, as my time to attend classes was limited. DBS’s location was also very convenient to the bus, rail and my workplace. I am in no doubt that I owe my success at strategic level to DBS. The lecturers were very exam focused and provided excellent study tips, revision notes and support. Lecturers were very open to questions and their industry experience brought real life insight to the syllabus topics. The QBR Day was an excellent way to prepare for the exams, by revising key areas, clearly identifying knowledge gaps, but most importantly practicing exam technique - particularly time management skills and focusing on exactly what the exam question is asking. So many marks can be lost by not answering the question asked! The QBR helped me in all three subjects but was particularly invaluable for the subjects in which I could not attend the full lecture sessions.'

'After studying in DBS as a mature student for the BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance, it was a natural progression for me to study for the CIMA qualification. Lectures are very well structured and of a very high standard. I would most definitely recommend any prospective student to attend DBS as the college aims to give the best tuition and support to their students. The lecturers are always willing to advise and help both in and outside college hours if required. I also felt the QBR day was an enormous benefit to me on the exam day. I was able to approach the day with confidence and apply the time management skills you need to be successful at examinations.'

'I find DBS to be a great college and I have done all previous subjects here in which I have also obtained significant results and achievements in the exams. The courses I attended were very focused on exams from the first couple of lectures. DBS is also very well located in the city centre, easily accessible to my work and home, and the carparking, canteen and library facilities are excellent. I would definitely recommend DBS as a CIMA tuition provider, particularly the P7 and P8 courses. Gerry is a great teacher who has a fantastic rapport with students. However I can also strongly recommend the tuition for P4 and P5 courses that I am attending at the moment in preparation for November exams. QBR was also a very beneficial day to me. It is essential to practice exam questions just before exams and to find out what your strengths and weaknesses are and still have time to work on any weaknesses!'
