Learning & Information Support Services Learning and Information Support Services offers a converged library and computing support service, providing a gateway to information in its various forms to support learning, teaching and research goals. Computing and Information Services are responsible for the provision of the hardware, network and software infrastructure which underpin all areas of computing within the university. They work closely with Learning and Information Services in providing support to the computer users of the Schools of Business, Law and Arts. The Libraries The combined Libraries in DBS offer both staff and students of the college a well-resourced, accessible facility stocked with the most up-to-date editions of all required texts. Located on the second floor of our Aungier Street building, the Library provides students with a quiet study space along with access to our bank of PCs and a TV/DVD media room. To accommodate different learning styles, the library now has 4 syndicated study rooms available for group projects and discussions. These can be reserved on-line, in person or over the phone. There is an extensive range of books and periodicals covering all the relevant subject areas such as computing, economics, law, accounting, finance, management and marketing, psychology, media and cultural studies, literature, anthropology and beyond. Along with holding a collection of over 40,000 titles, 190 journals, DVDs, videos, CD-Roms, thesis, annual reports and exam papers, the Library also provides access to a number of premium academic electronic databases including: - Emerald

As the college is now a wi-fi area, students are encouraged to make use of the laptops provided by the library. These can be borrowed from the library and used either at home or within the college environment.
